787-8 Dreamliner rolls out of the Everett factory.
(0061-3333)

The 787 Dreamliner was designed to be the first production airliner with a fuselage assembled in one-piece composite barrel sections instead of aluminum sheets and fasteners. As much as 50 percent of the primary structure, including the fuselage and wing, on the 787 Dreamliner is made of composite materials. An international team of top aerospace companies is building the 787, led by Boeing at its Everett facility near Seattle, Washington.
