Boeing Echo Voyager Unmanned Undersea Vehicle
(0061-2482)
Echo Voyager, the company’s first extra-large unmanned undersea vehicle (UUV), is a fully autonomous and configurable multimission-capable platform with greater efficiency and endurance than its predecessors Echo Seeker and Echo Ranger. Echo Voyager is 51 feet (16 meters) long and includes a modular payload bay of up to 30 feet (9 meters). Program leaders said the ability to carry such a large payload enables the vehicle to perform multiple missions at sea for months at a time without a support vessel for launch or recovery, making it more affordable and mission-capable than traditional systems.
